Description Janitor $500 Sign on Bonus $1,500 Retention Bonus Available Monroe Group is looking for a Janitor to join our team! Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Community Manager, this position must provide; clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors. The Janitor must follow the instructions as given for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving of objects/materials. Specific responsibilities include: Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, including but not limited to, floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, grounds, stairwells, windows, and appliances as instructed. Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and grounds. Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory. Maintains cleaning equipment in working order. Post notices as needed. Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning. Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations. Assist in community meetings, holiday functions, and special resident requests as needed. Where is the job located? The pay rate is based on experience between $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. $500 Sign-on Bonus and $1,500 Retention Bonus Available. Requirements REQUIREMENTS for consideration are: English language proficiency (read, speak, and write). The ability to pass a full background check. Must be able to work assigned hours as scheduled. Must be able to use cleaning supplies as directed. Must be able to use housekeeping equipment. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: School Diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.
