National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Bilingual Janitor in Northbrook, IL area code 60062. Keeping shared areas in an apartment building clean is important for everyone's comfort and health. Key tasks include: Regular Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and vacuum hallways, lobbies, and stairwells; dust surfaces; and clean windows and doors. Restroom Care: Clean and disinfect shared restrooms, ensuring they have enough toilet paper and soap. Outdoor Maintenance: Pick up litter and maintain cleanliness around the building's exterior, including pool areas and barbecue grills. Special Areas: Keep laundry rooms, community rooms, and conference rooms tidy and organized. Waste Management: Empty trash bins regularly and remove waste from parking lots and surrounding areas. High-Touch Surfaces: Clean door handles, elevator buttons, and handrails often to reduce germs. Team Support: Respond quickly to cleaning requests from building management to keep all areas well-maintained. The custodial position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.The hourly wage is $17.00, with bi-weekly pay periods. Requirements: Must have reliable transportation to commute to work. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Immediate availability is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with all team members. At least two years of custodial experience is preferred.
