JOB SUMMARY: (See the Job Description for a comprehensive list of duties): The responsibility of the Janitorial and Laundry Associate is to maintain sanitary conditions and or laundry services in assigned areas of the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. * Sweep all walkways * Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility * Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas * Clean inside windows * Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming * Run floor machine to clean large floor areas * Cleans and maintains offices areas, (sweeping, mopping, dusting furniture and ceiling vents) * Clean and maintain cafeteria (sweeping and mopping floors, microwaves, refrigerator, shelving, and empty trash * Takes trash to compactor * Operates laundry machines * Sorts dirty laundry * Sorts and hangs clean smocks * Collects dirty laundry cards around the facility * Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum education needed. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete checklists.

Responsibilities
