Our Janitorial Account Managers are skilled, proactive leaders with a strong commitment to customer service. They are responsible for enhancing the experience of tenants and clients while overseeing day-to-day operations. This includes managing financial performance, client satisfaction, and the success of their teams.
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed, on-call

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • At least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and random drug testing if hired
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Supervisory experience
  • Experience in janitorial and maintenance services
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications
  • General knowledge of cleaning, building maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical), housekeeping, admin, and security
    Candidates without direct experience may still be considered if they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and possess other skills that align with the role.

Responsibilities
  • Quality Control: Conduct daily property walkthroughs to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to IFSH standards.
  • Bid Preparation: Assist in bid walk-throughs and prepare bid documentation.
  • Training: Provide training for new hires, as well as monthly safety training and on-the-job training.
  • Staffing: Ensure appropriate staffing levels and manage staff schedules.
  • Budgets: Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring expenses remain within budget.
  • Safety: Ensure compliance with safety policies, conduct regular safety inspections, and investigate accidents within 24 hours.
  • Operations: Ensure compliance with janitorial operations, including meeting client contractual obligations while staying within labor and expense budgets.
  • Job Start-ups: Oversee the startup of new accounts by providing guidance, training, and developing work schedules.
  • Supervision: Regularly appraise employee performance and implement disciplinary actions when necessary. Supervise assigned account personnel.
  • Policy Adherence: Enforce and adhere to company policies and ensure staff compliance.
  • Insurance: Report accidents and claims, and assist in reviewing workers’ compensation claims.
  • Correspondence: Maintain communication with the Director of Operations and promptly respond to messages.
  • Additional Duties: Approve payroll and invoices, review financial reports, and provide coverage during staff leave.
