BOUNDARY BAY VETERINARY SPECIALTY HOSPITAL IS SEEKING ENTHUSIASTIC FULL-TIME JANITORIAL STAFF TO JOIN OUR GROWING PRACTICE!

The focus of this position is to ensure the hospital is maintained, clean, safe and sanitary for the patients, clients and employees. This position will not be responsible for any patient handling; however, you will be working in the vicinity of animals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Must love to clean
• Must have good inter-personal skills, and good work effort
• Must be comfortable working around cats and dogs (both large and small)

• Clean, sweep and mop all common floors, and keep to a maintenance schedule for scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors
• Clean public and staff washrooms daily
• Washes windows, sills, desks/tables, and walls
• Cleans the kitchen/staff room, coffee station, sinks, fridges
• Helps with laundry through out the day
• Removes garbage and recycling
• Disinfects computers, phones, doorknobs etc.
• Ensures proper labeling, dilutions and use of all chemicals
• Clean offices
• Scrubs and maintains our outdoor dog area
  This position reports directly to the Janitorial team lead and to the Practice Manager.
