JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director of Facilities, the Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for all the housekeeping activities of the Club. This role will also lead the night janitorial team to ensure consistency and well maintained cleaning standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 10 years of janitorial and 5 years supervision experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional certification in cleaning or facility management is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

• Direct and oversee the work of janitorial staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Lead and supervise the night janitorial team for the Club.
• Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards and meet client expectations.
• Ensure towels and linens are re-stocked and properly cleaned in the required areas.
• Hire and train new janitorial staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment.
• Manage and track cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, and reorder supplies as needed.
• Maintain and organize cleaning logs.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas are cleaned regularly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of work areas to identify any cleanliness or maintenance issues.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on cleaning activities, staff performance, and any issues or incidents.
