Description Position Summary Frontera Healthcare Network is seeking a full time Janitorial Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across all assigned facilities. This role supports patient care and staff operations by ensuring clinics and administrative spaces meet cleanliness, infection control, and safety standards across all seven Frontera locations. Abide by Frontera’s Mission, Vision and Values daily. Key Responsibilities · Clean and sanitize exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, and common areas according to established schedules. · Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment. · Empty trash and properly dispose of waste. · Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other janitorial supplies. · Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces following healthcare infection control guidelines. · Safely use and store cleaning supplies and equipment provided by Frontera. · Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to the supervisor. · Travel daily to assigned Frontera locations using a company-provided vehicle. · Follow all safety and confidentiality policies. · Perform other related duties as assigned. · Familiar with PCMH standards and work as part of the medical team to provide patient-centered care. · Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the organization. Requirements Work Schedule Flexible schedule based on facility needs. Frontera is willing to work collaboratively with the selected candidate to develop a schedule that balances organizational needs with the employee’s availability. Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent preferred. · Janitorial or custodial experience preferred. · Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. · A valid driver’s license is required. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements · Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds. · Frequent standing, walking, and patient handling. · Exposure to clinical environments, including infectious diseases and biohazards. · Occasional travel and irregular hours may be required.
