You move fast, notice everything, and handle cleanups discreetly so guests stay in the moment. Rapid Response: Handle spills, breakage, and bio events using proper PPE and protocols (bloodborne pathogens, sharps, glass). Back-of-House Support: Keep staff areas, hallways, stairs, and docks clear; break down boxes; compact trash; maintain janitor closets organized and compliant. Waste & Recycling: Sort glass, cardboard, and landfill correctly; tie, tag, and stage for pickup; keep bins labeled and sanitized. Post-Close Reset: Full restroom detail, deep sweep and mop, bar mats and drains, table/furniture wipe down, mirror/panel polish, odor control. Safety First: Place wet floor signage, block off hazards, report risks immediately, and log incidents. Inventory & Logs: Track usage of chemicals and supplies, document bio events and response times, complete checklists. Collaboration: Coordinate with Security, Bar, VIP Hosts (sales), and Management to support service flow and guest experience. Guest Interaction (as needed): Offer directions, a friendly assist, and alert Security/Management for guest issues. Core Competencies Attention to Detail: You see the smudge before anyone else does. Speed with Care: Move quickly without cutting corners or creating hazards. Safety Mindset: Follows procedures for chemicals, PPE, ladders, and bio events every time. Reliability: Shows up ready; completes zones and checklists without reminders. Teamwork & Communication: Clear radio etiquette, hand-offs between zones, supports the rush without drama. Discretion & Professionalism: Handles sensitive cleanups quietly; protects guest privacy. Adaptability: Prioritizes on the fly as crowds and calls shift. Pride of Place: Treats the venue like it’s your name on the door. Qualifications Prior janitorial, housekeeping, venue, stadium, or nightclub experience preferred. Physical Requirements Stand/walk for extended periods; bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. Frequent stair climbing; work with wet floors and cleaning agents. Compliance & Safety Follows Cal/OSHA guidelines, bloodborne pathogen procedures, chemical handling per SDS, and slip/fall prevention. Adheres to Parq policies on incident reporting, lost & found, and restricted areas. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Restroom check cycles completed on schedule.
