Job Details: Job Title: Bilingual IT Project Coordinator Client: Banking Industry Working Style: Hybrid (visit client’s office in Tokyo 1-2 days a week) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English/Japanese Start: May 1st, 2026 Position Overview: A leading banking industry company is seeking a Bilingual IT Project Coordinator in Tokyo to support IT infrastructure projects and collaborate with stakeholders both in the U.S. and Japan. This role requires 5-10 years of IT project management experience, with some exposure to IT infrastructure projects. Fluency in both English and Japanese is essential. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing cross-border projects in a dynamic environment. What will you do: Project Management: Lead and support IT infrastructure projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a bridge between U.S. and Japan-based teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Project execution: Work with stakeholders in clinet’s Tokyo office to complete project tasks Bilingual Communication: Translate technical and business requirements between English and Japanese-speaking teams. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear project documentation in both English and Japanese. Required Qualifications & Skills: Fluency in both English and Japanese (spoken and written). 5-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking. Experience in IT infrastructure projects, in areas such as networking, VCS, storage and OS. Strong ability to work across global teams and time zones, with responsibilities involving collaboration with both US and Japan teams. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. PMP or other project management certifications are a plus. Ability to work hybrid (Tokyo) with 2 days onsite per week.
