Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Japanese Cuisine Chef to join our culinary team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing authentic Japanese dishes, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring excellent kitchen operations. The chef will be responsible for preparing sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, tempura, ramen, teppanyaki, and other Japanese specialties while adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking -Prepare authentic Japanese dishes according to company recipes and standards. -Expertly prepare sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki rolls, tempura, ramen, donburi, yakitori, and teppanyaki items. -Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control. -Monitor freshness and quality of ingredients. -Develop new menu items and seasonal specials when required. Kitchen Operations -Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. -Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards. -Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing departments for ingredient requirements. -Minimize food waste and control food costs. -Ensure proper storage and handling of seafood, meat, vegetables, and other ingredients.
