POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Japanese Head Spa Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in scalp massage, relaxation therapy, and holistic hair care, with a genuine commitment to exceptional client service and attention to detail.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience in Japanese head spa, scalp treatments, hair spas, or holistic massage therapy (training can be provided for the right candidate).
  • Knowledge of scalp anatomy, massage techniques, and hair care products.
  • Excellent client service skills with a warm, professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining luxury service standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
  • Fluency in English

    Pay: From £18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week

Responsibilities
  • Deliver authentic Japanese head spa treatments in line with Aurora’s service standards and treatment protocols.
  • Conduct scalp analyses before and/or after treatments, using specialist tools and techniques.
  • Prepare treatment areas, ensuring a pristine, calming, and luxurious environment for clients.
  • Educate clients on scalp and hair health, recommending aftercare and suitable products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all equipment, tools, and treatment spaces.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Support with light operational duties, such as laundry preparation, replenishing supplies, and assisting other therapists when required.
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience from the moment of arrival to departure.
