Sokoni Africa Limited is in search of a knowledgeable and dynamic Japanese Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our Japanese restaurant, ensuring that all guests receive an exceptional dining experience. Your expertise in Japanese cuisine and culture will help maintain high service standards while supervising staff and overseeing restaurant activities. Responsibilities Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure exceptional service delivery and adherence to Japanese dining traditions Oversee daily restaurant operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and order management Ensure that all food and beverages are presented according to Japanese culinary standards and are served promptly Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints to ensure total satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with the kitchen team on menu development and special promotions Prepare reports on restaurant performance, customer feedback, and staffing needs Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, preferably in a Japanese or Asian cuisine setting Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Thorough understanding of Japanese cuisine, culture, and dining etiquette Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
