As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend systems that power their cloud-based platform. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and ensure that the software developed is scalable, maintainable, and performant.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

• At least 2 years of experience in software development with Java technologies;
• Knowledge of Quarkus or Spring;
• Solid understanding of complex distributed systems;
• Experience with databases, both RDBMS and NoSQL, with a preference for experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB;
• Knowledge of Cryptography and Security;
• Experience in handling large volumes of data efficiently;
• Familiarity with Unix shells and command-line tools;
• Prior experience with agile development methodologies;
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker is a plus;
• Understanding of automated testing, and deployments is a plus;
• Fluent in English.

• Develop and maintain backend systems, including console applications, Linux daemons, NT services, data processing applications, and backend services for web applications;
• Integrate with multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate work with remote teams;
• Take responsibility for the software developed, including delivery and maintenance;
