About the Job Our main product is the health insurance business logic and file within the German ABS-System, which manages all changes with regards to various health insurance products. You will be working in a mixed team of business analysts and software developers. What you do Gathering, analyzing and checking of functional and technical requirements Implementation of requirements in given technical design Software development in agile teams and input to methods of software engineering Develop, maintain, optimize, and service software or application components Ensure maintainability of developed software, Ensure operational stability of software Consideration of aspects: Performance, data security , IT security and ergonomics/usability in as part of software development You will work with: Java (Rich Client Programming), Eclipse, Git/SVN, Junit; Hibernate ORM, SQL, Relational Databases, Adapter Pattern; Jenkins, SonarQube, Confluence, Jira. What you bring Completed studies in computer science or equivalent experience, with strong skills in object-oriented application development and Java backend projects. Proficient in development environments and tools like Eclipse, JUnit, and Jira, with advanced SQL knowledge. Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork abilities, alongside a high level of commitment and quality orientation. Capable of working independently and adapting quickly to new information and changing work situations. Possesses analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Willing to engage with large applications and insurance use-cases, focusing on delivering business value.
