Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring for a Java Developer (Backend) role for a temporary, onsite assignment in Plano, TX.
This position is a 6-month assignment, with potential to extend. The pay range for this role is between $60.00 - $70.00/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for experienced software developers with a robust background in Java and the Spring Framework. Proficiency in relational databases is essential, along with cloud experience, preferably with AWS. You will be instrumental in developing the next generation of Toyota Financial Services’ core platform.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) – Highlight Top 3-5 skills

  • You are a strong Java developer who likes to stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and have the following experience
  • Java – 7+ years
  • Spring Framework – 5+ years
  • Cloud experience – 2+ years AWS preferred
  • Experience designing and building event based microservices

QUALIFICATION/LICENSURE

Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen
Preferred years of experience : 7 years
Travel required : No travel required
Shift timings : 9 AM to 5 P

Responsibilities

You will be working on new generation of Toyota Financial services core platform. As a developer, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of feature delivery, including coding, unit testing, functional testing, and deployment to production. Responsibilities include

  • Design, develop and maintain Java applications
  • Write well-designed, testable and efficient code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the best practices for software development
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies
