On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Java Developer, Capital Markets (SQL, SpringBoot & Shell Scripting) for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

JAVA DEVELOPER, CAPITAL MARKETS (SQL, SPRINGBOOT & SHELL SCRIPTING) - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves electronic FX trading (eFX) with a focus on building new features and integration activities. The role is primarily development-focused with an 80% emphasis on coding and a 20% focus on testing and documentation.

JAVA DEVELOPER, CAPITAL MARKETS (SQL, SPRINGBOOT & SHELL SCRIPTING) - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • 10+ years core Java Development (version 8.0 or above)
  • 10+ years’ experience with database development using SQL
  • 10+ years’ experience with shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment
  • 5+ years Spring Boot experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with front end GUI development (JavaScript/Angular)

JAVA DEVELOPER, CAPITAL MARKETS (SQL, SPRINGBOOT & SHELL SCRIPTING) – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Recent Capital Markets Celer and/or ION Wallstreet experience
  • KX kdb+ experience
