Description
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join the Securities Lending Technology department. The team is a global team with members in New York, London, Budapest, Glasgow, Bangalore, and Hong Kong. The development team is responsible for the development and maintenance of applications using Java, Scala and Angular. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the entire SDLC, have excellent communication skills and experience working directly with the business. They will need to be self-sufficient and comfortable with building internal networks, both with the business and other technology teams. They will be expected to own changes all the way from inception to deployment in production. In addition to implementing new functionality, they will use their experience in TDD and best practices to identify process gaps or areas for improvement with a constant focus on scalability and stability. Candidate should be self-motivated, results oriented and able to multi-task across with different teams and applications. Further the candidate will need to work effectively with remotely dispersed teams as the role will require constant communication across various regional teams. 5-10 years of experience in developing applications using Java/Scala technologies Should have hands on experience on Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka Should have experience in test tools like Junit, jbehave, cucumber, concordion, etc. Knowledge of databases like Sybase, DB2 and MongoDB Working knowledge of bitbucket, git, Jenkins, Unix Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies with a track record of high-quality deliverables Good communication skills and experience working with global teams Experience in Financing Industry, preferably in Equity / Prime Brokerage / Equity Swaps / Securities Lending, etc. Front end experience with Typescript, JavaScript and Angular etc. Agile Methodology Self-motivated, be able to work independently as well as being a team player Strong client service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide Deliverables within prompt timeframes.
