Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and optimise batch processing pipelines using Spring Batch for high-volume data workloads.

• Contribute to the migration and modernisation of legacy platform components onto microservices architecture.

• Deploy, scale and manage services on Kubernetes.

• Work closely with architects and platform engineers to define data management patterns and service boundaries.

• Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews and design discussions.

• Troubleshoot production issues and support platform stability during migration phases.




Must-Have Skills

• Java (strong core and object-oriented design)

• Spring Boot

• Spring Batch

• Microservices architecture and design patterns

• Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)




Good to Have

• Front-end experience with React or Angular

• Exposure to legacy platform modernisation or data migration projects

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker)

• Familiarity with relational or distributed data stores
