Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Java Spring Boot Microservices Engineer with experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade application at Melbourne location. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, AWS Cloud Services, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, along with hands-on experience in both development and production support activities within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Location: Melbourne

Salary: 108,571 – 119,893 Annual Gross

Key Responsibilities

Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Develop cloud-native applications and deploy solutions on AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, and SNS.
• Implement event-driven solutions using messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Create reusable, secure, and high-performance services following industry best practices.
• Participate in application design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
