We are seeking a talented and results-driven Java Software Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance Java applications that support a wide range of banking functions. What you'll do in the role: · Collaborate across squads to deliver products in lines with our multi-year strategy · Support different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, architecture design, development and testing · Develop new and existing components - previous commercial experience is required, with an openness to develop your skills more widely · The role requires good collaboration with members from the wider, global team, as well as neighbouring systems and business users What you'll bring to the role: · 3-5+ years of development experience in a Java language, preferably in a multinational environment · Scala and Angular experience is preferred or a strong desire to learn and use it · Experience building scalable systems comprising of loosely coupled interoperable components · Good command of English · Experience with agile and dev-ops principles · Interest to work with financial products What you can expect from Morgan Stanley: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
