Description
SAIC is hiring a Java Developer located in Pensacola, FL. This position will be supporting Training & Education Management Systems for Naval Education and Training Command (NETC). The roles primary focus is with Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource Systems (CeTARS) for both schoolhouse and corporate.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or NCAE-C designated institution - or - two (2) years of experience with a CSSLP, GSEC, or CISSP-ISSAP - or - previous DoD/Military course completion of M09CVQ1, M03385G, M10395B, M223854, or M0923W1.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Full lifecycle application development experience using web-based Java EE technologies (JSF, JPA and EJBs) using both traditional waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Spring, Seam, Struts or other MVC architectures.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, PL, and SQL.
