Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Java Developer to join a Federal Program located in Colorado Springs, CO. The Java Developer will support the development of web and backend applications for a credentialing and case management system.

Responsibilities of the Java Developer include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based REST APIs and backend services
  • Build responsive web applications using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation
  • Ensure compliance with federal IT standards and security protocols

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JAVA DEVELOPER INCLUDE:

  • 4+ years of experience in Java development for enterprise-level applications
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)
  • 1+ years of recent experience with AngularJS and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
  • Experience working on large-scale Federal IT programs
  • Familiarity with the SAFe Agile delivery framework
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.

Compensation for the Java Developer includes:

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
