Allianz is the world’s largest insurance company. We are looking for developers into our IVTK Team, which develops the JAVA based rating engine for Insurance Life products. This is an agile team of 10 colleagues, located in Germany and Budapest. Your tasks Gathering, analyzing and checking of functional and technical requirements Implementation of requirements in given technical design Software development in agile teams and input to methods of software engineering Providing operational and strategic advisory support to our clients. Developing, testing and deploying our calculation core, using modern technologies and processes. Ensuring operational stability of software Reviewing and improving the workflows and processes in your environment Your skills Holds a completed degree in business informatics, mathematics, or possesses equivalent knowledge. Has a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software developer. Demonstrates mastery of modern programming techniques and excellent programming skills in Java and from the Java ecosystem (Groovy, Jakarta EE, or Spring).Proficient in handling common design patterns and data structures (XML, JSON, etc.).Possesses very good knowledge of CI/CD and related tools, with extensive experience with build tools (Gradle, Maven) and at least one version control tool (e.g., GIT-SCM). Exhibits curiosity, flexibility, and interest in looking beyond the horizon, coupled with a willingness to change and a pronounced agile mindset. Displays strong team spirit and communication skills, with the ability to quickly grasp, analyze, and formulate complex issues precisely. Has a strong focus on solutions, high quality awareness, independent work, and the willingness to take responsibility, along with very good German language skills in speaking and writing (at least B2 level).
