We are looking for an Intermediate Java Developer for a 12-month contract position in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Required Skills and Experience

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Java Developer medium to large size projects)
• Minimum five (5) years of J Unit
• Minimum three (3) years of Spring Boot and or Angular
• Minimum three (3) years of experience with Maven/ Git , Database UI
• Minimum three (3) years of JSF 2.1.
• Minimum three (3) years of JPA 2.0 using Hibernate
• Proven experience in managing and prioritizing multiple projects or one larger complex project including but not limited to project solution design, development, and testing
• Previous experience and thorough knowledge in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodology
• Minimum of three (3) years of IT and/or telecom experience preferred (wireline, wireless, converged)
• Previous experience with AI tools is an asse

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Java EE Developer to join our client’s team and bring their knowledge of user requirements to shape application design, define application objectives and align designs with business goals. The ideal candidate will have in depth of knowledge in Spring Boot or Angular and have previous experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects, evaluating and developing project performance management, requirements, solution design and testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze user requirements to inform application design;
• Define application objectives and functionality;
• Align application design with business goals;
• Create high level and detailed designs;
• Adhere to SI development and testing standards
• Develop and unit test;
• Debug and remediate technical problems;
• Recommending changes to existing infrastructure;
• Develop multimedia applications;
• Develop and create documentation to assist users;
• Provide demonstrations
• Participate in peer reviews
• Participate in Sprint planning, stand- ups and retrospectives
• Ensure continuous professional self-development. and
• Other work relevant to the service category as required.
