DEPT Americas - Taskrabbit | Rails TSR : Java Full Stack Engineer – Professional (G5) Job Title: Senior, Software Engineering (FS/BE Rails/RN, LATAM) Max Comp: $45 USD Per hr (Cannot go higher than this.) Location Preference: LATAM - must have own machine Top Skills: • Tech Stack: • Strong Ruby on Rails, ideally comfortable with some React Native. • Projects: o Building new API's that will interact with our Customer Support Chatbot o sending additional information to make the CS/User experience smoother. Familiarity with chatbots is a plus. o Integration with Persona (ID verification tool that we already use) to o send profile photos from Taskrabbit to Persona and verify that the photo matches the Gov't ID that was previously provided. Familiarity with 3rd party integrations a plus.

Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for building new APIs intended to interact with the Customer Support Chatbot to enhance the customer and user experience. This includes integrating with the existing Persona ID verification tool to match profile photos with government-issued IDs.
