• You will provide strategic support in replacing our existing policy administration system in the area of ​​general insurance and actively shape the technological realignment of our application landscape.
• In the long term, you will play a key role in the integration of a new, Java-based inventory management system and contribute your expertise in architecture, development, and technical design.
• As an experienced backend developer, you will independently solve technical challenges when replacing existing software and integrating new software.
• You will take on an active role and responsibility in all software development phases – from conception through development and testing to deployment.
• As part of our agile team, you will work closely with our specialist departments, service providers and IT operations, and coordinate tasks directly.
• You will actively shape the technological future of our company.

Your profile

• You are a passionate backend developer with several years of professional and project experience with Java applications.
• You still enjoy software development, just like on the first day.
• You quickly and systematically familiarize yourself with new technologies, frameworks, and system landscapes, identify optimization potential, and proactively contribute suggestions for improvement.
• You communicate clearly, in a structured manner and in a way that is appropriate for the target audience, both within the development team and with specialist departments.
• You take responsibility for your solutions and act in a solution-oriented manner even in complex situations, prioritizing clearly.
• You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist, a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
