YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and deploy scalable applications using Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with event streaming platforms like Kafka and Google Pub/Sub.
• Deploy and manage microservices in production
• Utilize Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins for project and version control.
• Work during weekends and off business hours as part of support project

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Strong experience with Java 11/17 and the Spring ecosystem.
• Demonstrated expertise in incident resolution and production support.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (GCP preferred).
• Working knowledge of Kafka, Pub/Sub, and containerized applications on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to additional cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of alternative messaging and event-driven frameworks.
• Experience in support-heavy or application modernization/transformation projects
