JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The candidate will be functioning as an Onshore Tower Lead in Canada and would be in a client-facing role.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of Java Lead support experience and overall 8+ years of experience, and be ready to work 3 days a week from the office and provide on-call support.
• Proficient in Java Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC Concepts, RESTful Web Services, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Proficient in Angular applications and experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience dealing with vendors and their products, and customizing those products for business purposes.
• Experience with DB2 or any relevant SQL, JSP, and basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge in Struts framework and Spring Batch. Experience in managing and developing Spring Batch jobs is preferred and considered an additional benefit.
• Perform impact analysis across multiple platforms and applications.
• Deliver complete documentation for estimates, design, and development.
• Help determine and capture future business requirements.
• Facilitate and coordinate design sessions.
• Support system testing, UAT, and project implementation.
• Identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Identify the hours required to perform the required changes and implement them in the impacted systems.
• Develop strategy and functionality and demonstrate possible solutions to business and IT stakeholders; provide support to develop technical solutions.
• A quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts at a fast pace.
• Ability to work simultaneously on support and enhancement/maintenance activities with equal focus on both.
• Good knowledge of release procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Good team player capable of leading a geographically diverse team.
