WHAT YOU BRING

We are looking for a passionate professional with work experience as a software (associate) developer (f/m/d). The proposed position requires a university degree in computer science, engineering or a similar area.

Your knowledge base should include:

  • Strong programming knowledge of JAVA and / or JavaScript and the openness to work in a Java environment containing different technical platforms
  • Readiness to work across all technology layers from UI to persistence layer
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English (mandatory) and German (desired)
  • Willingness to take over responsibility for DevOps tasks and on-call schedules, the latter coming with additional compensation
  • Passion to explore the open field of enhancing our solutions using artificial intelligence (LLMs, AI Agents) within the boundaries given by SAPs policy

Some initial knowledge in the following domains would be helpful:

  • Knowledge of the agile development processes
  • Know-how in SaaS and Cloud Software Development and tools (like Jenkins, Eclipse, Ansible, Artifactory, Dynatrace, Kibana, GitHub)
  • Basic knowledge about the AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment
  • Practical experience with SQL
Responsibilities

As a (associate) developer (f/m/d) you will be part of a passionate agile development team of experienced and engaged cross-functional and diverse development experts, designing and rearchitecting solutions in the domain of credit card data integration into SAP Concur Expense.

You will

  • Focus on designing solutions which achieve high usage and user satisfaction scores.
  • Ensure a high software quality by designing, developing and executing manual and automated tests suites
  • Help resolve customer impacting issues in production: Provide technical knowledge and analysis to find root causes and resolve service degradations
  • Ensure smooth service operations
  • Evaluate, prototype and productize solutions leveraging agentic AI methodologies to automate complex processes
  • Continuously learn and self-develop
