Description

What you’ll doDesign, develop and customize applications using Java/J2EE, Spring and Spring Boot
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Migrate monolithic applications to a microservice architecture
Design complex microservices using appropriate design patterns
Configure OAuth/JWT authentication in existing Java applications
Work with messaging systems (JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Develop and deploy applications in Azure
Take part in design meetings and contribute to architecture decisions
Lead a team and deliver within agreed SLAs

What we’re looking for10+ years of experience in IT, including 6–8+ years with Java (8 or later)
Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, REST, JSON and microservices
Experience with a front-end framework: React or Angular
Solid understanding of microservice architecture
Experience with Git, Azure Repos or Bitbucket
Experience developing and deploying applications in Azure
Agile experience
Strong consulting and communication skills, plus team leadership experience

Hybrid work: 3 days per week in the Amsterdam office, standard working hours (no shifts)
