Java Software Engineer

Join an engineering team building and supporting business-critical platforms within a modern microservices environment. You'll work on scalable backend systems using Java while contributing to platform reliability, automation, and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Build and enhance event-driven solutions using Kafka.
• Contribute to containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Argo CD.
• Support CI/CD processes and engineering best practices.
• Improve system reliability, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• AWS experience.
• Knowledge of securities settlement or post-trade processing.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Devin, or similar.
