Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Developer with expertise in Liferay to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java development and hands-on experience with Liferay DXP and Liferay Portal. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications with a focus on Liferay customization and system integration. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain Java-based applications, including Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP solutions. Implement Java modules, themes, and portlets based on business requirements. Integrate Java applications with third-party APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to define technical solutions. Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices. Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of Java and Liferay applications. Stay updated with the latest Java and Liferay features, best practices, and industry trends. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in Java development (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate). Strong understanding of Liferay development (Liferay DXP, Liferay Portal 6.x/7.x). Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular/React. Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration. Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and documentation skills.
