About the role... We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer (Java) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our business in implementing and developing solutions for large EU and international institutions and private sector companies in Greece and abroad. What you will do... Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JBoss); Develop and maintain containerized microservices-based applications; Work with Oracle databases, message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ), and Redis caches; Create, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality; Support build, validation, deployment, and release processes; Collaborate with teams to maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines; Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for issues in development and production environments; Technical Skills required... BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any other relevant field; Minimum 5 years of experience in developing applications with Java (both legacy [Java 8] and modern [Java 17+] versions); Solid background in the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot and Spring 4.x stack); Experience integrating applications with databases, messaging systems, and caching technologies; Experience working with Oracle databases; Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes; Ability to draft technical documentation; Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; Experience in the following will be considered as an asset: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure; Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and React; Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and cloud-native architectures; Behavioral Attributes...
