We are seeking a passionate and skilled Solutions Engineer (SE) to take a leadership role in shaping and delivering cutting-edge technical solutions for our Client Document Experience Product initiatives. As a Solutions Engineer, you will bring your advanced technical expertise and leadership to design, architect, and develop scalable systems with significant scope. With a deep understanding of technology solutions and engineering best practices, you will work collaboratively across product and engineering teams to drive the technical roadmap and execute business-aligned solutions. You will guide teams through complex challenges, mentor talent, and ensure the delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions that propel our organizational goals forward.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a robust understanding of designing, building, and operating secure, scalable systems at enterprise scale
  • Strong expertise in Java; fluency in multiple programming languages and development stacks with the ability to design resilient, maintainable solutions
  • Mastery in creating highly scalable, distributed, and secure systems, preferably within a cloud-based environment
  • Proficiency in working with both relational and non-relational data stores
  • Expert knowledge of microservices architecture, design patterns, and test automation (code-level unit and integration tests)
  • Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional teams and manage multiple large, complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Proven experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of continuous growth
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset who thrives in a team environment
  • Deep understanding of enterprise-grade, production-hardened systems and observability practices to reduce toil and improve MTTR during incidents
  • Familiarity with document processing workflows in a large-scale organization is a significant plus
  • Committed to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers to drive innovation and organizational growth
Responsibilities
  • Develop and define the technology roadmap for the Client Document Experience Product, aligning strategies with both business and technical leadership
  • Partner with Product Leadership to translate business goals into actionable features and solutions
  • Serve as an expert advisor, supporting multiple teams in overcoming technical challenges related to architecture, development, and integration
  • Mentor agile teams and Technical Leads, fostering an environment of engineering excellence and continuous improvement
  • Deliver hands-on contributions to development, while ensuring all implemented systems adhere to leading-edge engineering principles and best practices
  • Participate in Architecture Working Group (AWG) meetings, contributing to technical vision, design strategies, and overall architectural decisions
  • Lead and mentor senior engineers to enhance their technical expertise and ability to mentor others
  • Actively participate in change review meetings to ensure delivery quality and support enterprise-wide communication and collaboration
