Responsibilities

WORK YOU’LL DO:

As part of the client’s decoupled integration architecture, the Java/Spring Boot Integration Developer will play a critical role in building interfaces that support multiple protocols and exchange formats (APIs, file, message, and events) using a Red Hat technology platform. These interfaces will connect the front-end platform with the back-end CRM solution while enabling dual processing of data for the existing platform. The role involves developing, testing, and ensuring successful integration with upstream and downstream systems, as well as replicating data into a data warehouse.
The Java/Spring Boot Integration Developer will collaborate with an established team to co-create end-to-end interfaces between systems, including the creation of agnostic canonical data models to support the designed interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop interfaces leveraging Red Hat technology platforms, Apache Camel, and Spring Boot to support multiple protocols and exchange formats.
  • Ensure successful integration with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Replicate data into a data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement agnostic canonical data models.
  • Create technical documentation, including Technical Detailed Designs from business process flows.
  • Configure and tailor technology platforms to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Translate detailed flow charts into coded machine instructions and collaborate with technical personnel in planning programs.
  • Leverage Azure DevOps for code repository and automated build-to-deploy interface code.
  • Perform unit and integration testing of development code to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop synchronous and asynchronous integrations, correcting program errors as needed.
  • Implement API Management deployment patterns for synchronous integrations using 3Scale and/or Azure API Management
