For the strengthening of the Financial Services and Web Application Units, part of the “Cloud & Custom Application” practice, we are looking for a Java Technical Lead.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL PLAY A KEY ROLE IN:

  • Manage and guide development teams
  • Lead and manage development teams, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress
  • Interact with stakeholders to understand their problems and needs
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate new features and improvements
  • Ensure code quality and performance in compliance with coding standards and technical design
  • Lead problem-solving discussions with the team
  • Supervise and review the work of team members
  • Identify potential improvements to existing development processes
  • Assist in removing impediments to progress

At least 5 years of experience in the role within structured companies;

  • Proven work experience as a Java Technical Lead or similar role
  • Strong experience with Java and its associated technologies, like J2EE, JDBC, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
  • Experience with test-driven development. Knowledge of software testing principles and experience in writing unit tests using frameworks like JUnit
  • Experience in designing, developing, and deploying software solutions using Java technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues
  • Ability to document requirements and specifications
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of software developers, ensuring efficient project execution
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure that project requirements are clearly understood and met
  • Experience in agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban to deliver high-quality software in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills for understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
  • Knowledge of the English language at a professional level
