JCA RETAIL ASSISTANT – 2025

With over 25 years’ experience in the outdoor industry, JCA is one of the leading UK companies for school and family activity holidays. JCA’s flagship activity centre is Condover Hall based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. We boast over 40 different activities to choose from and can host over 500 guests at one time – a super exciting and unique place to work.
This is a part-time seasonal vacancy from now – October 2025 with the option to return for the 2026 season.

• Serving customers (mainly school age children) in our on-site shop in the manor house.
• Regular stocking up of the shop and the bar.
• Physical tasks such as putting away deliveries, lifting and moving sometimes heavy boxes of drinks and merchandise.
• Being on your feet for a large part of the day, including using stairs.
• Regular cleaning tasks.
• Handling money including cashing-up your own till.
• Performing monthly stock checks.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are effectively adhered to.
