JDA WMS ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Configuration & Maintenance
• Configure WMS parameters, workflows, and rules to support business requirements.
• Maintain and update system environments, patches, and upgrades.
• User & Security Management
• Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Ensure compliance with company security standards.
• System Monitoring & Performance
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks or errors in operations.
• Integration Support
• Support integration with ERP, and warehouse automation systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data interfaces (EDI, APIs, flat files).
• Operational Support
• Provide end-user support for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping transactions.
• Resolve warehouse execution issues quickly to avoid operational downtime.
• Data Management
• Manage item masters, location setup, and warehouse configuration.
• Ensure data accuracy and perform periodic audits.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Ensure regular backups of configuration and transaction data.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Report Customization
• Configure and customize operational and performance reports.
• Provide management with dashboards, KPIs, and real-time visibility into warehouse performance.
• Documentation & Training
• Maintain system documentation (config changes, workflows, SOPs).
• Train super users and warehouse staff on system updates or new features.

JDA WMS DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES

• System Customization
• Develop enhancements, extensions, and modifications using MoCA framework
• Implement function customization to tailor workflows, screen layouts, and transaction processes.
• Interface Development
• Build and maintain integrations with ERP, and reporting tools.
• Support data exchange via EDI, APIs, or middleware.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging
• Diagnose application errors, data discrepancies, and integration failures.
• Provide root cause analysis and permanent fixes.
• Performance Optimization
• Tune SQL queries, batch jobs, and system logic to improve efficiency and response times.
• Testing & Deployment
• Develop test cases, perform unit/system testing.
• Upgrades & Enhancements
• Assist in WMS upgrades and retrofit custom code.
• Ensure that custom functions and reports are migrated without disruption.
• Report Customization
• Design and develop customized reports using WMS reporting tools
• Automate report scheduling
• Collaboration
• Partner with business analysts, warehouse operations, and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance for super users and operations teams.
