Job Description Job Title: Jetty Operator Job Type: Part Time, 24 hours per week (Two 12 hour shifts, variable days) Job Location: Belfast Hourly rate: £18,358 Industry: Oil & Gas As a Jetty Operator you’ll be responsible for undertaking Terminal & Jetty operations, ensuring that operational and client requirements are met and in compliance with Client and SGS procedures. You will also ensure that tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, minimising any potential hazards, allowing the safe discharge of vessels at various locations. Key Accountabilities; Help vessels dock safely and oversee the transfer of oil and gas products. Monitor storage tanks to make sure there’s no underfilling or overfilling. Keep the jetty clean and safe. Carry out safety checks before and after ships arrive. Report any safety issues or incidents. Qualifications Experience isn’t required for this role. What matters is that you’re comfortable working varied hours, have good availability, and are prepared for a physically demanding, outdoor job. How to be a successful candidate Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work outdoors and handle physically demanding tasks.
