About the position: We're excited to be bringing a Jewellery CAD Designer into our Product development team! If you're someone who is passionate about engagement rings and wedding bands with a strong skillset in Rhino 3D/Matrix then this is a perfect opportunity to combine those skills within our product team to assist with new design creation. Key Responsibilities include: Design and develop precise and technically accurate CAD models for engagement rings, wedding bands and fine jewellery using Rhino 3D/Matrix. Create technical CADs for manufacturing and to support realistic renders for marketing and lifestyle imagery. Collaborate with the product development team and jewellers to refine designs and ensure manufacturability. Provide input on technical requirements, including QC considerations and style guide adherence. Maintain accurate documentation and organised records of all designs. Ensure designs align with Cullen Jewellery’s aesthetic, quality, and sustainability standards. What are we seeking? Proven experience in a Jewellery CAD Design role or equivalent, specifically for engagement rings and fine jewellery. Extensive proficiency in using Rhino 3D with Matrix plugin software. Knowledge in ZBrush (or similar) for post-CAD finishing. Strong background in jewellery manufacturing, with experience working in-house or closely with manufacturers. Knowledge of gemstones, stones and diamonds High attention to detail with the ability to identify technical issues and suggest solutions. Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
