Job Description As a Jira Admin Specialist, you will be responsible in providing comprehensive system administration support for various Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction. The position requires collaboration with business users and stakeholders to enhance tool capabilities and streamline processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of project management within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities Provide quality system admin support for Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Compass, and associated add-ons. Manage Jira projects, users, permissions, and configurations including workflows and custom fields. Evaluate and manage Jira and Confluence plug-ins, including testing, installation, and configuration. Install and configure custom Jira add-ons to enhance capabilities. Develop automated scripts and triggers using Python, JAVA, Groovy, REST API, and Webhooks. Establish standards and best practices for managing Jira and Confluence. Provide technical support for user management and custom dashboard creation. Write custom JQL for advanced filters and reports in Jira. Experience in migrating Jira instances. Work with Atlassian support to resolve issues promptly. Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and optimize tools. Provide recommendations on best practices for implementing projects within the Atlassian suite. Develop and maintain technical and user-facing documentation. Maintain application environment by reviewing and modifying configurations and workflows. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience. 2-4+ years of relevant experience. Working knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira, JSM, Confluence, and Compass. Coding experience using Python, JAVA, and REST API. Process governance experience or strong automation workflow knowledge. Experience with Agile methodology lifecycle. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Good in developing user training materials and guides. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with Jira Cloud for Sheets and Looker Studio. Familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) framework.
