Position Description: JIRA Administrator – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts. Location: Remote Responsibilities: Configure and manage Jira as the primary ticketing and workflow management system Design and maintain workflows to support Work Order tracking and task automation Administer user roles, permissions, and access controls Customize dashboards, reports, and boards to support program visibility Monitor and maintain system performance and data integrity Support SLA tracking and reporting requirements Integrate Jira with tools such as GitLab, Confluence, and other DevOps platforms Troubleshoot system issues and implement process improvements Support Agile teams with board configuration, sprint setup, and backlog management Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 5 (five) years of equivalent experience in Jira administration Hands on experience configuring Jira workflows and issue types Experience managing user permissions and access controls Experience integrating Jira with DevOps tools such as GitLab or Confluence Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint management Strong analytical and problem solving skills Desired Skills and Experience: Experience supporting federal or DoD programs Experience designing workflow automation for complex programs Experience building advanced dashboards and executive level reporting views Familiarity with IT service management concepts and SLA monitoring Certifications: Required: None Preferred: Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator, ITIL Foundation certification Clearance Requirement: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
