Job Purpose The Jira & Confluence Project Intern supports the Project Management Office (PMO) by assisting with project tracking, workflow coordination, and documentation management across Jira and Confluence platforms. This role is designed as a project-based developmental internship for a recent college graduate seeking hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, PMO operations, and enterprise collaboration tools. The internship includes defined deliverables, close supervision, and structured learning objectives while contributing to non-critical project coordination and documentation efforts. Responsibilities Assist in managing Jira projects, including creating, updating, and tracking issues, tasks, and epics Support accurate sprint boards, backlogs, workflows, and dashboards Document project updates, processes, and standards in Confluence Organize and maintain Confluence spaces, pages, and templates Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to improve workflow efficiency Generate basic Jira reports and metrics Support onboarding and Jira/Confluence best practices Identify opportunities to improve documentation and processes Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree completed within the last 12–24 months Qualifications/Experience Requirements Academic, internship, or project-based exposure to Jira and/or Confluence Basic understanding of Agile or Scrum concepts Strong organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow structured processes and manage multiple priorities Interest in project management, PMO operations, or business systems Preferred Qualifications/Experience Participation in team-based academic or internship projects using Agile tools Exposure to software development, IT, or technical project workflows Experience creating documentation templates, dashboards, or reports What You'll Gain Hands-on experience with enterprise Jira and Confluence environments Exposure to Agile project execution Mentorship from project managers and cross-functional teams Portfolio-ready project experience Work Location If selected, you must live in or independently secure housing near one of the following office locations: • Englewood, CO • Miami, FL • Orlando, FL Travel Requirements No travel required.
