Job Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager that has a speciality in Jira to join our team in Poole to support the delivery of a major engineering programme. The role focuses on coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and ensuring smooth collaboration across technical teams. Location: Poole On Site: 2-3x a week Clearance: SC Experience Level: Mid - Senior Key Responsibilities: Lead day‑to‑day project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking. Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to maintain clear visibility of tasks, risks, and dependencies. Support the transition from JIRA to SPIRA, ensuring teams adopt and use the new tool effectively. Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and status updates. Facilitate communication across stakeholders and help drive project milestones to completion. Qualifications Required Skills: Proven experience as a Project Manager within a technical or engineering environment. Strong and mandatory working knowledge of JIRA for task management and workflow tracking. Ability to support requirements capture, clarification, and traceability. Excellent organisational and coordination skills. Strong communication abilities, with confidence engaging both technical and non‑technical teams. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience. Desirable Skills: Experience supporting or implementing new project management or requirements tools (e.g., SPIRA). Familiarity with structured engineering processes or systems‑based projects. Ability to manage evolving requirements and maintain clarity across multidisciplinary teams. Comfortable working in environments with formal documentation and defined project governance.
