Description SANDRA AND LEON LEVINE JCC The Sandra and Leon Levine Jewish Community Center is a non-profit, social service agency founded upon Jewish ethics and values. The Center provides and initiates diversified social, educational, recreational and cultural programs within a Jewish setting. The LJCC is a partner in serving the community, is affiliated with the JCC Association of North America and a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte and United Way. Qualifications / Attributes: Experience working with or taking care of young children. Position Purpose: Create and maintain a safe and stimulating environment for young children (ages 7 weeks to 7 years). Work in a family-centered program and focus your duties on the needs of the LJCC families. Major Responsibilities and Duties: Engaging the children and modelling developmentally appropriate activities and positive behavior management techniques Regularly cleaning toys and common area surfaces. Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible. Work cooperatively and effectively as a team member by communicating and contributing information on a daily basis. Changing diapers as needed. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the JKid Club Coordinator. Working condition: Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Occasional lifting of 25 pounds or more. Requirements Ability to create a safe environment, free of any possible risks. Must enjoy being around children and creating a positive atmosphere for them. Energetic and positive attitude. Experience working with children and taking care of young children.
Responsibilities
The JKid Club Associate is responsible for creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for young children. This includes engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities and managing positive behavior.
