OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various types of equipment, including farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy machinery. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety of all equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a mechanic or service technician is preferred.
  • MUST have a valid CVIP license for semi truck and trailer
  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes is essential.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake repair, alignment, HVAC systems, and soldering is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects as part of routine job functions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of equipment including excavators, cranes, tractors, and forklifts.
  • Utilize schematics and OEM specifications to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and heavy machinery.
  • Repair or replace components such as transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and tires.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for assembly and repair work.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each job.
