We’re seeking a driven and skilled Junior Verification Specialist to join the Credit Risk team. The Junior Verification Specialist will:

• ensure all required documentation is collected, verified, and aligned with the mandates of purchase order funding, invoice discounting and any other funding products Sourcefin may introduce; and
• identify and escalate discrepancies in client documentation through designated platforms and personnel; and
• perform in-depth research and due diligence on prospective clients and end buyers; and
• conduct checks on company directors and shareholders; and
• assess risks based on past business dealings and credit history; and
• ensure compliance with all SARS requirements for funding approval; and
• identify and escalate potential tax compliance risks; and
• assess client creditworthiness using prescribed platforms; and
• review client bank statements for financial viability; and
• follow up on invoices with end buyers for accurate payments dates and bank details
