JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Coach to support individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workforce development, or related fields, with experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves mentoring, training, and providing resources to empower clients on their journey toward success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-the-job training, mentoring, and support to individuals in employment settings.
  • Provide guidance and support in areas such as employment readiness and personal development.
  • Assist clients with understanding workplace expectations, routines and job tasks.
  • Document progress notes, job performance, and client achievements.
  • Mentor clients through challenges, fostering resilience and self-advocacy.
  • Support clients with job readiness activities such as resume preparation, interviewing practice, and soft skill development.
  • Encourage independence by gradually reducing support as clients gain confidence
  • Stay informed about employment and labor laws to ensure compliance in coaching practices.
  • Uphold confidentiality and advocate for client rights in the workplace
