Job Details Job Location: Fairmont Office - Fairmont, WV Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $12.00 - $12.00 Hourly Description PACE Enterprises is hiring Direct Care Workers to work with individuals with disabilities by providing supervision and assistance at their place of work. This is an entry-level DSP - Direct Care Worker position in which you are trained to provide vocational training services, a specialized service that does not include residential services, or nursing support. Staff who work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in this program say that this job is inspiring and they love coming to work! Gain valuable work experience in a non-profit while contributing to a positive and progressive program. In this position you may provide transportation to the program participant to/from his or her job and stay with the participant to provide guidance and direction. Caregivers seeking a positive new job experience are very successful in this job. Qualifications Requirements of the Direct Care Worker: Interest in helping someone achieve their highest potential Requires a valid drivers' license and good driving record. Experience using a computer for basic data entry; able to write clear and descriptive summaries. Must be able to keep track of details such as tasks worked on and time to complete while multitasking as a trainer. All positions require completion of a criminal background check.
