Description

Check Off Your List (COYL) is hiring a remote Marketing Creative Specialist to support our exponential growth.
COYL provides highly trained, remote professionals in bookkeeping, executive assistance, human resources, marketing, web design, and IT Support on a pay-what-you-need model so our clients can focus on what matters most – their business. We do the ordinary so they can do the extraordinary.
This is a remote position (seeking employees based in Florida, Maine, Ohio, or Texas) reporting to the Director of Marketing. It is a part-time position with the potential to grow to full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement project-specific strategies (e.g., email campaigns targeting lead generation) based on client needs and goals.
  • Creating Client Briefs: Collaborate with the Creative Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing to gather and incorporate client information into actionable marketing plans.
  • Integrations & Automations: Leverage tools and software to integrate marketing platforms and set up automated processes for improved efficiency.
  • Support Backend Marketing Tasks: Handle behind-the-scenes responsibilities, from troubleshooting software integrations to testing campaign functionality, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Understand Marketing Strategies: Clearly grasp the overall marketing approach (including digital channels, target audience behaviors, and analytics) to align your work with team objectives.
  • Copywriting: Craft compelling, engaging, and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including email campaigns, website content, social media posts, and other promotional assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing or a related creative role (2+ years preferred).
  • Proficiency in website development using Elementor.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and how to apply it to marketing projects.
  • Familiarity with marketing integrations and automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of marketing strategies and concepts, with a focus on lead generation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on backend processes with precision.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of popular email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Kit, ActiveCampaign) and CRMs (Pipedrive, Keap/Infusionsoft)

Bonus

  • Website Creation & Maintenance: Design and maintain websites using Elementor, ensuring they align with overarching marketing campaigns.
  • HTML Customization: Apply basic HTML for email signatures.
